The film roll settled on My Project X, its reviews and stills around the frame

Demo recreationSiena Film Foundation’s site, rebuilt one to one by FF Dev Studio with its own films, stills, trailers and words. All of them belong to Siena Film Foundation and its filmmakers. Not affiliated, and not their live site.

A film foundation’s site rebuilt one to one: the WebGL film roll, the slider and every page transition.

About

Eight films on a vertical WebGL roll that spins in on entry and snaps film by film to the wheel, a drag or the arrow keys, with a horizontal slider on Work that keeps the centre film sharp and blurs the rest. Each film opens into a case page with its trailer, credits, reviews and stills strips that run against the scroll.

Every page was rebuilt from the reference, its behaviour ported module by module and its timings measured, then checked against it frame by frame in the browser. Pages change without a reload, and the WebGL scene is cleaned up between them, where the original leaks.
